Do we have confirmation he's actually on the album? Dumb question but I recall hearing Travis/someone else did studio drums on their previous material
Lol I literally just got this promo in my inbox right now. I guess you could say it's "coming in mothafucka" Time to dive in.
This is ridiculous and over-the-top so far, but in a really fun way. I’m having a blast. @Drew Beringer was spot-on.
“Inglewood” is a whirlwind. Actually pretty poignant. Color me impressed, this is certainly MUCH more interesting than the EP.
Jason Butler’s two best releases are still Fake History and The Blackest Beautiful imo... but the new Fever 333 is probably on par with If I’m the Devil for me (an album that I still think is underrated overall). I’m glad this is so much more enjoyable for me than the EP.
BBC Radio 1 premiered Animal yesterday and had a chat with Jason. Song is ok but nothing too special.
Yeah definitely agree with that comparison. Probably the most Linkin Park-sounding moment on the album.
This is great. Surprised by the longer tracks, they don't seemed too dragged on and remain interesting. There's definitely more of a 'if I'm the devil..' influence here than the ep. Only complaint is that some of the tracks sound a bit too busy in some of their parts. Like a bit too much is going in the background and at at the same time
PREY FOR ME/3 rips!!!! I digged the album after first listen. I just wish the intense synth was dialed down throughout the entire album and let the guitar tones shine.
Burn it guitar intro is cool, and the ramping up intensity. Neat screams on here too. Back half of Out of Control is tight.
Random but the bass and some of the guitar on prey for me reminds me a lot of something off a silversun pickups song
Animal sounds like a later day FOB song with a Letlive filter It’s also slowed down a little too much This is honestly better than expected so far. Very happy these artists are being given a platform to really reach a moderately mainstream audience. They deserve it
It’s poppy and better than the EP but I personally don’t like it. I kept envisioning the same kids who mosh at the hip hop shows moshing to this.
Listening to this now. Just got through Inglewood/3 and I'm loving this album. Its super fun and makes me really want to see them live. Jason is always incredible live.
