Just spent a bit re-listening to their music released so far. "Burn It" was better than I remembered... and everything else was actually worse than I remembered lol. I'm hoping that's a good sign for the album at least because they're moving in the right direction...
Well I'm intrigued... I'll give it a shot. Not expecting to be blown away, but as you said if it's fun that's enough for me.
I'm expecting it to sound like a weird early Papa Roach / Hollywood Undead mashup, so not in a good way
Relieved! More like John Feldmann-produced Attack! Attack! songs then? I remember loving those back in the day.
I can’t say because I never listened to Attack Attack But the songs that have a “/3” at the end of them on this record are wild - they change up vibes and styles throughout My standouts on this album so far are: Animal Prey for Me/3 One of Us Inglewood/3 Out of Control/3 I think a lot of people will be surprised by this
“Out of Control”....... Hoobastank cover confirmed. But in all seriousness this does sound interesting and I like “Burn It” more than anything else they’ve done. Gonna go in with an open mind.
"Trigger" is still my favorite of the stuff I've heard, but I liked "Burn It" too and I'm still interested to check this out.
So the track times were just added to iTunes and uh... Drew for once buried the lede lol. There’s TWO 7-minute songs and a 5-minute song on here. Interesting...
If they switch up the tempos/time signatures/keys every once in a while I'd be into 7 minutes of that.
Lol aric totally pushed for the 7 min songs Kind of thinking the /3 are all connected It’s a prog ep hidden within a full album!
