I mean I'd love a Heat 2 but I'd prefer it without Leo.

 

I like Leo but he doesn’t need to be in this one

 

doesn't even make sense given presumably he'd be one of the main characters who are younger versions of the characters from the first film when he's basically the same age they were in it now lol

unless it's like django where he's the "villain" and like the 4th lead or whatever

 

Yeah I’d be fine with him taking a smaller part to secure the movie getting made.

 

Heat is turning 30. Way too old for Leo!

 

Netflix will spend $500 billion on the electric state but Michael Mann can’t get Heat 2 made. Smdh.

 

ES - 14% on RT. Surely someone will pony up the funds for Heat 2.

 

I could see Leo as Wardell playing the villain role. Maybe he could pull of Kilmer’s role but I don’t know.

 

I could see Leo basically as DeNiro only, Butler or nothing for Kilmer

 

DeNiro was 52 in '95. Leo is 50 currently. ain't no way.

 

The DeNiro part in the book only takes place 7 years before the movie. Not that hard to make Leo look 45
