Fenix TX opening for Blink in 1999 and again in 2000 is how I got into them. Self titled is still their best. When Flight 901 kicks off its instant smiles and takes me back to Sophomore year of HS.

 

I got into Fenix because they were featured heavily for the soundtrack of that MTV movie “Jailbait” (insane title) and loved their music video so much at the time.

 

the trailer is the kind of thing you won't believe is real unless you remember watching it and this horrible movie

 

What a stacked soundtrack for such a problematic movie

 

Good lord. That trailer is vile in just about every way except for the soundtrack.

 

Yeah, and I remember MTV promoted the *shit* out that movie and aired it every chance they had.

Kinda surprised ETR hasn’t nailed down the rights to that soundtrack yet.

 

Since it was MCA Records, I assume Geffen has the rights.

 

The 2000s were a different time.

 

Whoa. I hadn’t given any thought of the movie since like 2000. But the actress’s name sounded familiar in that trailer, but she didn’t look familiar. 5 years after the movie, she became the Pink Power Ranger for the SPD season. That’s how I know her name.

Couldn't even make it through the trailer but I do want to know how on earth that movie could end.

 

My memory is shot for stuff this long ago but I have a weird feeling that it’s like he gets probation? It was very dumb.

 

Had to grab Purple Reign, maybe one day we'll get the other two, but that's a good live album so it'll have to do.

 

Was gonna pick up both but listened to the EP and that is a rough recording lol. The live album is a good listen so that was easy.

That site has a lot of good t-shirts I may have to pick up too

 

Just listened to the live album for the first time in forever. Still sounds great. But that banter - well, it’s very of its time.
