i mean, he got popular because tegan and sarah produced his first record and then he did two songs with macklemore / went live on ellen (which i think got wiped from the internet). so he's always had connections. i'm still in shock he got dallas on this but it could have been that jonah marc levine dude that rounded everyone up.
