I know that @Craig Manning has seen my list, and I'm excited to share it with others! I'll probably just tweet about all 28 of these albums during February. And yes, I have never listened to Red in its entirety and will be discovering this album at 29. Even throughout January I've been trying to be better about spending time with older records and discographies, rather than just getting wrapped up in listening to new stuff. Hoping to keep that going more this year.

Is that the Sarah Vaughan also referred to as “Sarah Vaughan and Clifford Brown”? If so, you’re in for a fuckin’ treat
It started on Twitter, so definitely there at the very least (though definitely hoping that folks could put stuff here too). I try to do a single long thread that I add to daily, but other folks are less neurotic than me and just tweet whatever. Make sure you use the #MWE hashtag when possible, sometimes it gets you into fun random convos. Also, you've got some really cool choices there! The Roches' self-titled is a perfect winter-into-spring album, great choice for Feb 28.
I feel like I must explain that I got into music kind of at a weird time in my life (15/16) when I was still in a very sheltered environment at a cultishly religious school, so I got REALLY into some obvious bands from our scene and missed the boat on ... a lot. Definitely excited to dig into all of these though.
Cant explain how jealous I am of you getting to listen to White Pony for the first time. An absolute all-timer.
Madvillain - Madvillainy Saving it for my run this evening. Gotta say, I'm really enjoying getting involved with the twitter community over this. Feels really good to connect over something during these pandemic times.
Feeling like a dumbass for not listening to Maladroit until now. This is exactly the kind of Weezer I love.
I got about two minutes into this Nick Drake album before realizing I've definitely heard it before so that's a good start for me.
I love this idea and this thread! I'm starting with a classic I've never listened to all the way through...Marvin Gaye's What's Going On
Blonde is truly so good. They’re one of those bands for me where I didn’t quite realize how many pure hits they have until I really sat and listened to an album in full.
Starting out today (at some point lol) with Silver Tears by Aaron Lee Tasjan. I saw him last year when he was touring with Nada Surf and somehow I just never got around to listening to this particular album.
