Tab+Enter worked at least

 

It's my recommended method since it's cross browser and should be update proof.

i forget how a lot of people aren't like me and try to break systems and explore every kind of interaction i can have with them for shortcuts and tweaks, tab+enter is like second nature. it's also my dad's biggest scourge on Gmail, he's accidentally sent so many emails that way

 

might be a dumb question - is there an option to mark all followed threads as read? sometimes i get backed up and there seems to be no fast way to mark a buncha threads i don't wanna catch up on as read, so i just open all of them

 

On the bottom of the page there's a little two squares / arrow icon in the far right. That opens this quick nav menu. Which has what you're looking for.

 

hm, I was looking more specifically the ability to mark my followed threads read, rather than all threads. this does work but it functions differently/is a lil more tucked away than the Mark All As Read link on AP's followed threads feed.

 

I'm like 98% certain that link on AP's followed thread's page actually does the same thing. I'll add the idea of just a followed threads version to my list though.

I'd like to be able to upload and attach/embed photos on mobile, is that a possibility?

 

"More Options" in Landscape Mode has an attachment button.

 

Hmm, "more options" just takes me to another page where i can enter text, no option to attach

 

Are you in Landscape mode? The extra buttons only show up that way.

 

Is there a way to do birthday notifications for people we are following? Something similar to how Facebook does it?

Yeah none of that is on my phone. Chrome on HTC One M9

 

I just tried an emulator for the HTC One M9, and those options show up for me. Unless you've changed the screen resolution somehow on the phone, when it's turned sideways in the "more options" screen on posting, there's not any reason I can see that they wouldn't show up for you.

Have you tried any of the other browsers?

I don't know if it's the "menu" being on the far right that's messing with it or not, but it shouldn't be.
