I mean Cliff Curtis and Kim Dickens were great casting right off the bat and I don't even like THEIR characters. I watched season one but I just didn't give close to enough of a shit about anyone on this show to continue. The bad taste from season 6 of TWD was the final nail in this spinoff for me lol.
Sure the show isn't winning any awards but it's fine for what it is. I think we'd all enjoy it a lot more if we all just stopped complaining about every little thing.
It's not terrible; it's just blah. Not much new/original, but it's still a decent level of entertainment. The group in the hotel finally seem to be making things right and settling in, but we know that won't last long, so maybe before this season is done we get a glimpse of what is to come
Watching the first hour now and after 2 seasons of this and 6 of TWD, I finally saw a walker death that make me feel a little queasy. Thanks Nick
I guess that shows my low expectations that I accepted the first hour as the finale lol. Watching the 2nd one now!
I just finished the first one and holy shit, Travis at the end. Pretty sure that's now 3 people he's beaten to death with his bare hands (I'm assuming Shawn Hatosy didn't make it back in S1)
Dang, crazy ending to the 2nd/final episode. With that base located where it was, I wasn't surprised those soldiers came out where they did. Will be really interesting to see where next season takes off
I have been fairly critical of this show this season, but the two episodes last night were excellent. The four mains (Travis, Nick, Alicia, and Madison all gave strong performances in both shows. I am actually excited to see where this goes next season. Also, Kirkman said on Talking Dead that we have not seen the last of Strand and the hotel group. I'm not sure how that will work with the rest of the cast heading for (or at) the border, but we shall see.
Took em 2 seasons to finally get interesting. Final 2 eps were actually pretty good. I like that Curtis and Alycia are full blown murderers now. They were pretty boring characters prior ha.
I watched this show up until the mid-season premiere of Season 2 and just let it pile up on DVR. Never could bring myself to watch the last 7 or 8 episodes. I never thought the show was that bad, but I definitely didn't see it being that interesting and really thought they dropped the ball by having a full blown apocalypse within the first 3 episodes of the series, instead of leading up to the apocalypse throughout the course of the series. To be honest, this show kind of took my excitement away from The Walking Dead because this was like watching a poor man's version of The Walking Dead and it was kind of ruining it for me.
Stupid poster lol. I may be unhappy with the latest TWD season, but I don't think I will ever return to this show at this point unless the general consensus in this thread changes.
