Currently doing Lead Singer Syndrome, Noise Creators, Rich Roll, Going Off Track, Modern Vinyl if the guest is cool, 100 Words or Less sometimes, JJ Reddick, Woj and Chris Mannix on Yahoo, and NPR's Planet Money. Did Serial first season and dabble with the Undisclosed follow up podcast. I listened to the Encore podcast during the afternoons I used to spend before @Jason Tate became too cool...
Good deal! I'm thinking an extra long episode haha. I'm sure there will be some AP content and small talk updating people on the hectic schedules, but I would love to hear some good music discussion as well. I think there is a lot of good stuff around the corner here.
Hahaha if it means more meat in terms of the music discussion, I'm down. I can read the threads for AP look backs. But being the first episode since the change, I get it.
Nerdist, Not Safe w/ Nikki Glaser, Fresh Air, All Things Considered, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Encore and Let the Right Films In are the ones I listen to regularly.
A little bit of self-promotion but also about a podcast, so...cool? The Record Podcast: The Record Podcast by The Record Podcast on iTunes I'm Nick Vombrack (Dr. Manhattan), and on the podcast I interview people from all over the music industry to talk about their history with music, stories, tangents, advice and a ton more. Check out previous episodes with Nic Newsham (Gatsby's American Dream), Casey Bates (Producer), Scott Heisel (Substream Magazine), Durijah Lang (ex-Glassjaw), Kurt Travis (ex-Dance Gavin Dance), and many more! New episode with Mike Felumlee (ex-Alkaline Trio) is live now! Thank you for putting up with that self-promotion. Appreciate the listens. xoxo www.therecordpodcast.com www.soundcloud.com/therecordpodcast www.facebook.com/therecordpodcast
Does anyone listen to My Dad Wrote a Porno? It's exactly what you'd expect + is legitimately one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
Craig listed a few of my favorites already. Hockey fans should listen to Marek vs Wyshynski and if you already do, check out Wyshynski's new hockey pod coming soon on Nerdist, PuckSoup. All the Kinda Funny podcasts are great (See avi), but I can't emphasis the GameOverGreggy show enough. Four dudes, random topics. Natural, funny conversations, feels like how my friends and I talk.
Steven Hyden's Celebration Rock is a great, well-produced music podcast that I've been enjoying lately. I've been finding myself even listening to the interviews that I'm not particularly interested in, like that recent Deftones one. Aside from that, IGN Beyond is a surprisingly good gaming podcast, Going Off Track is great when I like the guest, and The Talk Show is usually something I listen to at night when I'm trying to get to sleep.
Are you listening to the last one to try to put you to sleep? Because there's actually a podcast specifically for that. It's called Sleep With Me, and the host intentionally drones on, goes off on pointless tangents so that it's hard to follow what he's saying
My podcasting listening fell off quite a bit recently. I'm trying to catch up on Tell 'Em Steve Dave. Just finished episode 200 tonight. Also listen to the new Smodcasts when they come out.

I would really love an Overcast Mac app that syncs with the iOS app, so you could pick up where you left off on your phone.
