I'm in the middle of season 2 of Someone Knows Something. It's like Serial (though not nearly as well narrated) and it's about Sheryl Sheppard, a girl whose boyfriend proposed to her on tv on New Year's 18 years ago and she hasn't been seen since. Its pretty interesting.
PS I Love You XOXO is from Kinda Funny. I mainly listen to Kinda Funny Podcasts (Kinda Funny Gamescast, PS ILY XOXO, Kinda Funny Morning Show) and the Giant Bombcast and Podcast Unlocked from IGN. Edit: and Pockets Full of Soup by Jared Petty
No worries, just be prepared for the episodes were they spend 30 minutes arguing on where to order takeout from lol.
I tend not to subscribe to serialized or research dense podcasts because I listen to podcasts as I'm going about my day and sometimes my mind wanders. I'd rather not miss anything and the only other time that would work for following something like that is in bed, but I always fall asleep too fast. That being said, I'm three episodes into Missing Richard Simmons and loving it. I think this is going to be my gateway. I've gotten really into documentaries over the past few weeks and this is like an audio documentary in little bite sized pieces and it's awesome
I listen to/watch pretty much all the Kinda Funny stuff. Colin quit the other day, dunno if PS I Love You XOXO will go on or not
New episode is up today and funny. I used to be obsessed with them. Fell off around 300 episodes in, but I need to get back into it. Saw them in Dallas and hung out with Jah at a bar afterwards.
My wife and I just started a podcast. If you want to listen to two dorks talk about stuff, give it a listen. This Old Married Couple iTunes
I really only listen to podcasts in the car, but I often have to rewind a lot because I have a short attention span
I don't even know if I want it to continue or not, I love the show but it would be so weird without Colin.
My current favourite pods: - Tell Em' Steve Dave - The Pete and Sebastian Show (probably my favourite podcast) - Sloss and Humphries On The Road (two touring uk comedians podcast - have a section called "muggle corner" which is fucking amazing. Basically the things that are cringeworth like "live laugh love" photo frames. Its a dour british pod but really funny) - Crimetown (well produced podcast on an old providence mob scene) - Layovers (if you are the least bit interest in aeroplanes and airports, then this is passionate but not OTT) - My Dad Wrote A Prono (took me a while to get into it, but once i did, i loved it).
Subscribed. I burst out laughing in the first episode at the start when you said you thought the first date was more a meet and greet.
Here are some ones I like No Dumb Questions Noise Creators James Duthie Presents: The Rubber Boots Podcast Encore Because Money Podcast Mo' Money Podcast You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes The Dave Ramsey Show Lead Singer Syndrome Build Wealth Canada Joe Rogan Mostly Money, Mostly Canadian Planet Money Hi, My Name Is Mark Monday Morning Podcast - Bill Burr
I did. It was interesting and enjoyable, but kinda unfulfilling I guess. I don't know what I expected.
Haha. I love TJ too, but I've never listened before. Just saw 4 "Money" podcasts in your list and it made me think of "Cashing In"
