god, i'd really need to think about which specific episodes of podcasts i'd pick for this

an easy choice is whatever episode(s?) of U Talkin' U2 2 Me? came out this year

 

CBB's 500th ep

 

I didn't list any Doughboys episodes because off the top of my head, nothing really stood out, but now that I think about it, the Shrimp Off should be mentioned.

High and Mighty Power Hour was also... something.

 

It's so hard to pick individual episodes, I always just think of specific moments. Nick Wiger's reveal at The High and Mighty Power Hour could very well be the top for me, but the episode before that is a shitshow.

Walt telling the story of sleeping half under the bed in Tell Em Steve Dave is also up top for me

 

Boogie Monster has been consistently entertaining

 

Off Book: The Improvised Musical is easily my favorite new podcast of the year. Consistently a delight to listen to. It's ridiculous how skilled Jess, Zach and Scott are at musical improv. My favorite so far is probably the Drew Tarver ep but best guest honor goes to Nicole Parker:

Everyone was absolutely on fire. Funniest podcast episode of the year for me.

 

Nugget Power Hour is the first thing that popped in my head. I'll have to give a lot of thought to the others though.

CBB500 is definitely on my list though.

 

I’ve NEVER listened to a podcast but for some reason I want to. I need show Recs. Film, music, tech, relationships, psychology, media, etc. thanks in advance.

I slept on Doughboys for so long but ive listened to twenty episodes in the past week and I will see you guys soon.

Well if you've NEVER listened to a single podcast you have to start with the podcast that arguably began the whole podcast "revolution"....the first season of Serial

 

I don’t recommend doing that.
