my food trinity is basically the whole asian continent w an honorable mention to mexican. i really want to try more african and south american cuisines tho
I take a lot of shit from you but you’re talking arse rn lmao And yes fish and chips in England > anywhere else. Why the f people can’t grasp battered fish and fries is not the same is beyond me
I think I’m the only one who doesn’t really dig pasta. Spaghetti I’m all over but like pasta shells and the like I’m not about
I love that everyone has a favorite and least favorite pasta shape. It can't be based on taste so what's everyone deal with shapes? Not shitting on anyone, just baked and curious as usual
But they’re all so different! They serve such different purposes! The “everyone has one pasta shape they hate” meme does crack me up every time though. I have no idea how that’s so true but it really is.
Hotpot kinda stuff - suet dumplings (not American/Asian style ones - these are huge and fluffy and absorb the gravy and juices) and beef casserole makes me die. Fish and chips is a given. Sunday roasts - we’re talking meat and gravy if y’all wanna be pedantic but it’s a tradition that you have roast meat, gravy, mashed potatoes, greens, roast potatoes, STUFFING, Yorkshire puddings (YES) and alllll the good stuff. Full English breakfasts are again a given - bacon, sausage, baked beans, toast, fried egg, ooooof. Cottage pie. In fact most meat pies in general. Pasties. Toad in the hole.
