Only on very rare occasions, and I usually need a fair amount of spice to be involved as well, otherwise those two flavors just dominate everything.

Peanut butter on its own is worth mentioning though. So many uses and so perfect.

 

At the moment I would do terrible things for some of the Vietnamese fish sauce wings at one of my favorite local breweries. Especially next to a flight of their fruited beers.

So true. At one of my old jobs I was known for showing up to morning meetings with just a banana and a jar of peanut butter for breakfast lol. One of the best combos out there

 

sometimes I just grab a jar of peanut butter and a spoon

it's comfort food

 

Turkey Hill's chocolate peanut butter ice cream. Does it still have the thin ribbon of frozen peanut butter running through it? Sometimes I just want to see what happen if I eat it

I had one of those today! Split the banana in half and fill it with peanut butter, that’s what I have for breakfast constantly.

I wouldn’t consider many sweets to be my favorite on their own. I’m always more for savory. But there are certainly specific cakes or pies or recipes that are my favorite in the dessert world.
