insane.. the mid 2010s were such an incredible time for me when it comes to music

 

ILYHB is 10 today. Wild how fast flew by. Still his greatest achievement

I think God’s Favorite Customer is his best and a masterpiece

 

He has a clear top three and that's one of them for sure

those are the top three but if it were tiered ILYHB would be alone in S tier. a perfect record.

 

Yeah it was my first FJM and still my favourite. One of my favourite albums of all time. And it didn't hurt that I was getting married around that time. My life is tame compared to some of the lyrical content but I could definitely relate to the general theme of being cynical about the idea of a soul mate or marriage yet having those feelings overwhelmed by love. Unlike Josh I didn't have to reckon with my own worst impulses to reach that conclusion - I could just throw on Honeybear.

I was going to skip his show here in Pittsburgh next week because money is tight and I’m dealing with a bunch of personal shit but it looks like he’s been playing this entire album so I said fuck it!

 

Stop... I'm so upset this tour isn't coming here. I'm sure he's doing Lolla or something but if I don't get the whole album experience I will be very sad
