The rip I got is bad, idk if there's a better one out there, but that's why I won't listen anymore till it's released.

Only track I can’t get into is the title track. Anyone got a take on it that might make me appreciate it more?

  3. It's currently my least favorite as well, although I still enjoy it. Just waiting for it to click the way everything else has, especially considering it's the title track.

I am not necessarily too lazy to download an album I'm just not in the habit. And I ain't about to start by downloading one with which I have to rearrange the song titles like a puzzle.

Title track is my 2nd favorite behind Please Don’t Die. It’s just really pretty.

Damn the songs released so far are so good. I can't stop listening. Disappointing Diamonds and Just Dumb Enough are both especially beautiful songs. They make me feel a way

I very rarely download leaks, or anything for that matter. I’m so locked into Spotify, and I usually don’t care to bother downloading a leak when I can just wait a few days.

Unless the album leaks super early. Like Pure Comedy. And this one. Lol.

Last two albums I can remember downloading. Haha

    This is great.

I still haven't listened to the leak yet either but I've been spamming the singles. Might have to grab it this weekend.

Compared to his other albums, I kinda get the impression this is like FJM lite. Not just in length but lyrical content too. Which is fine, it doesn't blow me away, but it's still mostly good, just a little less interesting to me than what else he's done till this point.

Yeah, it'll probably grow on me more, but I'm pretty confident in saying that this is my least favourite album of his.

I couldn't disagree more I think the songs I heard are taking the songwriting of Pure Comedy but going back to lyrics and themes more similar to the first two.

This is one of my favorite albums of the year already. I love how it seems to expound on the human cost of creating Pure Comedy and sinking into the character of Father John Misty.

Father John Misty World Tour Dates

Announced a lot of tour dates today.

Still no Chicago date, so he's probably playing North Coast or Riot Fest. Which is cool, but not enough so I'll have to decide if I'm going to try to go to Milwaukee on a Thursday or just pull the trigger and go to Cleveland on a Saturday.
