Is he good live? I saw him at Gov Ball 3-4 years back, but obviously that wasn't his key demo.

 

I saw him last year and it was fantastic

 

He’s amazing live. The most fun was during Honeybear cycle but he sounded fantastic last year. Ended up going to the tour twice.

 

Does he typically switch is up or is it more like a set "show"?

 

I don't really even listen to him and thought he was pretty fantastic at Bunbury a few years ago

 

Side note: would LOVE to know what a FJM Broadway musical is like.

Absolutely incredible live. Last time I saw him he had a full string section and I was in awe. His voice is something else in person and you can always expect to have some laughs as well.

I think this is an easier record for people on the fence to get into. I haven't looked at the lyrics closely but it seems lighter on the snark and cynicism of his past two records. I'm gonna hold off listening till it comes out though bc this leak quality is driving me insane.

I’ve never seen Him live but he gets huge praise for his vocal performances. It’s pretty undeniable.

 

Yeah, I’ve only seen him once but it was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to

 

Seeing him live is such a treat. Especially in a seated theater. It literally feels like a church. The man puts on a show.
