I got the Live at Third Man Records vinyl (which shipped way quicker than I expected) and it's a really great listen. But it also made me realize how bad I want a live full band FJM album.

 

lol after the poem zone line he stopped for like 15 seconds and just said “so stupid” and went right back into it

the crowd sucked though. they kept screaming for ideal husband and he said “maybe we can go to a karaoke bar after and i can do all the hits”

Really like this album, but 'the songwriter' makes me feel so so shitty. I had to stop listening to it lol

 

Although let’s be clear: the Ideal Husband should be a part of every FJM set.

 

This is true but it's impossible to be disappointed with a set list like this

Oh absolutely not! I mean I certainly didn't walk away from my shows feeling like anything was missing (except maybe Just Dumb Enough To Try). Ideal Husband just bangs is all.

 

The pro-shot Pitchfork Live is really, really good - if you want I can share the audio rips from it, should still have them at home. No GFC-era songs obviously.

 

When I saw him last year the crowd was shouting a bunch of different songs and he said something like “theres 10 songs left on the setlist. Don’t you think I’ll play most of those?”
