i didn't know that was a thing. damn.

 

Went a day without listening to this because of all the PEOPLE stuff. It feels so fresh again even after 24 hours. Fucking love this record.

Still waiting for Gilded Cage to show up on streaming.

 

It’s the best record of the year - my review is super long and I’m still editing it down so thanks for the patience

 

The way he goes up from the "ooooo"'s to the "and" towards the end of verse 3 into the chorus of "Please Don't Die" is my very favorite tiny moment from the record

It happens at 2:16. Anyone else know what I mean? haha

I love the production on this album

 

VMP sclusie arrived yesterday. Primary color smoke. Looks great. Also have the Loser purple smoke which looks incredible. I think the only other difference is the language on the back cover. Also no tears (obviously) on the VMP

 

I’m in over my head with my voice going weak by the end of the sentence is my mood for this whole year

 

still a daily listen for me. as much as i loved it on first listen, it's getting better.

I think this debuted in the top 20 of the billboard chart. Wonder what it would of done if it was promoted fully.

 

Or if Apple hadn't leaked the full album a month out...

 

the US tour is starting soon, should give the album more exposure since he's wildly popular a lot of people probably just havent listened yet

 

Plus he will undoubtedly blow people’s minds away with all his festival appearances.

 

I really regret that I left a festival halfway through his set in April because the person I was with sucked and I wasn't that familiar with his music yet. He sounded great from what I did hear.

 

Looks like it was #18. I read somewhere anticipated record sales were around 22k. He sold 33k of Pure Comedy in the first week.

 

Girlfriend has free Mountain Jam passes this weekend but I can't go. Was really looking forward to seeing him in that environment.

 

Was too busy trying to hook up with a girl I met at Coachella in 2015, so I only half paid attention during his set. Sad!

 

it's more forgivable in 2015 than in 2018 though!

 

I only forgive myself because the uh, deal was eventually sealed.

I do remember "Honey Bear" being epic though.
