This is my main source of music info, so I was just going off of what was on the forums. I’ll give it a chance now though.
he's pretty divisive regardless but the people who do like him mostly liked that album, its worth a visit i personally love it.
This is the first album where I’ve loved every single song in a long time. I find myself going back to the title track often though, it’s so wonderful
I really enjoyed this upon first listens, but I'm totally in love with it now. The Palace just made me burst into tears. Wow. Not sure if I can pick a favourite song or moment. "What's your politics? What's your religiiiiioooon?" is definitely up there, though
Please don’t die and just dumb enough to try are probably my top 2 songs but I legitimately love every song on here.
Pure Comedy has some of my favorite FJM songs though. “So I’m Growing Old on Magic Mountain” is everything.
I haven’t listened to FJM before, outside of a couple songs on the radio. I like this album quite a bit. I get some major Iron & Wine vibes on some of the songs - is that crazy? Also, how are his other albums compared to this?
New song on Friday https://pitchfork.com/news/father-j...el-artemis-which-hes-in/?mbid=social_facebook
Has anyone else noticed that Spotify has tracks 1 and 4 switched on this album? When I play "Hangout at the Gallows" it's playing "Date Night" and vice versa.
