It's a seated theater and usually assigned seating. My friend was telling me yesterday that the FJM show will be GA, but I can't confirm that.
OK cool. I would have kind of preferred seated honestly (I think Misty is best in seated venues), but excited either way. Thank you!
I just got the tickets, it is GA. (Kind of worried about it now I feel like it's just gonna be a mess finding a spot cus I'm not going to be able to get there until kind of late.)
Please Don't Die is one of the prettiest things I've heard in quite some time. This album is a stunner
granted, seems like there's a lot of hyper-sensitive mental stuff surrounding this record, so i won't speculate too much, but whatever caused him to quiet down, it's really worked in his favor. letting the songs speak for themselves is the best choice he could've made tbh
Personally I hope he does some interviews for this because I think he's incredibly interesting and I love listening to him talk
He was very all-business at his Homecoming set (there was some banter but seemed tame for him) and while he and the band obviously sounded great it felt a tiny bit like something was missing. Wouldn't mind him loosening that tongue a smidge more if I end up seeing him again up here later in the year
his set in Bloomington has made me a newly converted fan as someone who went into it knowing next to nothing and being only familiar with the persona. Bored in the USA is a hilarious song and that Mr. Tilman song was extremely interesting to me even on just an acoustic guitar.
Super excited he’s coming to buffalo for our summer outdoor concert series. It’s normally $5 but you can pay $35 for VIP and get a guaranteed spot up front , which is funny because that’s cheaper than one would normally pay for nosebleeds at one of his theater shows.

Shit... that was great. I can't believe I've went this long without listening to the leak. Usually if it's one of my favorite artists I don't last a day.
i think its easily his second best album behind honey bear, and i fucking love pure comedy to death. "mr. tillman" is already one of his most iconic songs to me.
