I mean, that is pretty messed up to do to an entire cast when you aren't even an OG member haha. If thats the case then Tyrese is perfectly capable of finding something else to do though. Definitely shouldn't be threatening to leave the franchise if he's struggling that much. Thats for sure.

I'm pretty sure something similar happened to Ludacris when Paul Walker died and the movie was delayed, but thats on a completely different playing field. I think I remember Ludacris having financial issues too bc he was counting on that Fast 7 money to support his family. Still, other things can be done.

‘Fast & Furious 9’ Production Resumes, Investigation Into Stuntman Injury Under Way

 

This is great news, but I'm more excited for the movie beyond this where they're forced to escalate further. Do we get wormholes? Multiple dimensions? Time travel? Give me a movie where the gang have to face-off against evil versions of themselves from a parallel universe.

 

I've spent the last few weeks giving this series a re-watch for the first time in years to prepare for Hobbs & Shaw. I watched 6 and 7 last night. I forgot how legitimately emotional and well done Paul Walker's sendoff is, it's truly one of the best moments of this franchise.

 

Still hurts
