it was so great to catch 5-7 in theaters ahead of F9. wish paramount would do the same thing with the M:I movies ahead of the 8th one

 

All the way up to Hobbs & Shaw now......man, these are becoming a slog to get through, hahaha. Fast Five has been my favorite out of all of these so far. Fate of the Furious was dogs***

 

5, 6 and 7 are the best. 7 being my favorite 8 and 9 aren’t great. X is fun

 

5 is easily the best.

 

5 > 4 > 1 > 6 > 7 > 8 > 9 > X

Heh, I’m watching LOST right now. Just starting season 2 of my rewatch and Hurley and Jack are discussing the numbers right now.

 

i get why 5 is consensus for the best one, but for me 7 by at least a marginal difference. i also gotta read tom breihan’s recent column on see you again, as it apparently alludes to how the brian footage works way more than it has any right to

 

7 was the point I realized they peaked with 5 and it was all downhill from here. Coincidentally, the scene that made realize it was literally a scene involving rolling down a mountain side.

The worst is 4 and it isn’t even close

 

What is so bad about 4?

 

The fourth wasn't great, but it did have Dom's magical crime scene re-creation skill he hasn't used since, which was more interesting and hilarious than most of Fast X.

 

Who is the Toretto mother? You can't say you're about family if she doesn't show up to ram some car out of the way.

 

The mother is gonna be Penelope Cruz or some shit

 

4 is just boring as hell to me. I’d take the crazy insane shit in fast X over it any day.

 

No way 4 is worse than any films post-Paul Walker

 

I wonder how much Walker impacted keeping the films balanced. Diesel was definitely the star in the later films but Walker was the main character initially and was actually in more of the films. He, and later The Rock, made them more even. Now Diesel was able to get rid of Lin and it isn't like the other actors are going to question the paycheck.

 

Has Vin been in any non-FF films in the last 10 years?

2 and 3 are practically spin-offs, but I still enjoy them for the fun factor.

I really enjoyed 10 because it ties into my favorite Fast film, but I put it 2nd to last for now because IDK how that story ends or if we will see how it ends. I can see it ending in the middle if it has a fulfilling ending.

 

How can anyone forget the return of Xander Cage?
