The Big Picture’s Sean Fennessey really hated this. And while I don’t share his level of vitriol towards it, I think he makes a good point that there’s nothing exciting about this one. Momoa should be a thrilling villain, but despite all his destruction, he barely even leaves a scrape on any of the Family. There’s no stakes or tension and while that could be excused in previous ones because they have ridiculous set pieces, there’s not much going on between the Rome ball sequence and Dom smashing helicopters together with his car. It’s two and a half hours of impenetrable people smashing into each other and that gets old.
Nah this fucking ruled. The dialogue boarders on parody even for a fast movie but Momao was so fucking great and I’m glad the action didn’t try and one up the last one. Also LOL at trying to find logic in anything in these after watching 10 of them. Just shut your brain off and enjoy.
It's really hard to regularly bring people back from the dead and then expect anyone to believe that any of the characters are actually in danger. You can't pill off that trick after this many resurrections.
So just found out the flight attendant on the plane is Paul walkers real life daughter. Also with how many threads/storylines they left open/ need explaining it makes sense why they are making 2 more and not just one imo
I can't see them ever bringing back Elena or Vince but everyone else is immortal. The table for the barbeque at the end of Fast X: Part 3 is going to be huge.
