I mean yeah it's fast food don't expect like Shake Shack quality for a place that offers the prices they do, but it was always the only place open after like 1am in the small town I lived in for awhile in NC and if you're drunk/stoned it's perfect and so satisfying

 

Never had it truthfully and it's probably better than Cook Out's but idk for my cheap ass nugs that I am getting there it's a decent sized dip cup and perfect

 

I haven't had Cook Out yet, so I can't speak to it either haha.

 

Yep, late night after a show or something or a road trip where you want to save money and eat for the whole day are pretty much the only times I recommend them. They fill that need well.

 

If you go to SC this year I expect a full report Ken

if you've ever been to a church fundraiser or eaten from a random parking lot where they're raising money for the local basketball team to get new jerseys and they're selling burgers and hot dogs to support them, that's exactly what Cook Out tastes like

 

I actually prefer those fundraiser burgers over theirs by a wide margin.

 

this is the best dipping sauce for real

 

That's why you get a bunch of toppings so you only get the charred burger taste obviously

 

Popeye's 100% has the best arsenal of dipping sauces of any fast food chain.

I hate to say I love chik-fil-a sauce but I do

I wish Popeye's was more accessible to me here cause I feel like I am missing out on some good stuff

 

we all know one that doesn't deserve it would win tho

I'll take the popeyes sauces > the chick-fil-a sauces pretty easily though.

It’s Lee’s, but we’ve already discussed the fact that almost no one has that available.

 

I actually don't really like any of the Popeye's dipping sauces except for the cajun gravy, which is like drugs, but they always want to charge me for a side of it.

I guess I'll pay $1.99 for a side, but you better fill up that entire 8 ounce cup.

 

For sure, especially because Sweet Baby Ray's makes an adequate substitute Chick-Fil-A sauce that you can get by the bottle in any supermarket. Neutralizes their one advantage.
