I went to Popeyes yesterday and I’m so glad the hype died because I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

My brother had bought me chick fil a the night before and I could seriously tell how much better Popeyes was compared to the chick fil a one.

It’s just not fair.

If you don’t live near a Cook Out, consider yourself lucky. I work nights and I’m fucking addicted. I tried to set a rule for myself like a month ago: I can only have fast food once a week. And I got Taco Bell on Monday and Cook Out the last two nights, so. It’s going great.

 

Want to try Cook Out so bad.

 

Cook Out is an absolute must have when I visit NC. I'm so obsessed with it but it's probably for the best that I can't get it where I live cause it's so cheap to eat so much

 

The nearest Cook Out to me is 4 hours away in Salisbury, MD. Been trying to figure out an excuse to go there for years now.

My friend group from home used to go to Ocean City, MD for a weekend every year but we stopped going in 2018. If we ever go back, I'm going to Cook Out before the return trip because it's only 40 minutes away from there.

 

I wish I held the same opinion as everyone else seems to about Cook Out but I was pretty let down by all of it

 

Maybe I'll feel the same way if I ever get to try it. Who knows!

My expectations have been set pretty high considering how much it gets praised. I have friends that have had it and gushed about it to me as well. So it's hard not to be expecting a lot from the place.

 

I got ya. I mean I can only go by my own experience but I was far from impressed with any facet of it so I always feel like I should at least warn people

 

I've never had Cook Out, but I feel like the food is probably just okay, and the reason it's popular is because you can get like a corn dog or a quesadilla or something wild as your side.

Seems like it's a cool stoner type fast food place but traveling to go there or expecting something other than average fast food (from any fast food place) is probably not going to fulfill expectations.
