Finally trying the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich let's do this y'all

 

Ok it was really good, better than chik fil a for sure. Just wish it had more sauce and it didn't have pickes is it supposed to? Would've been better I think

 

I take out the pickles usually because I feel bad to say no pickles when there is only like 2 pickles in it lol

 

the only downside to the Popeye's sandwich is it needs more pickles and more sauce.

It arrives to McDonald’s as a concentrate. The concentrate is then mixed with their water system and comes out of the fountain.

I hear that they use a higher concentration.

LMAO. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’ve never tried it still so don’t shoot the messenger. My friend pretty much insisted that I get it with the pickles even though I normally don’t like pickles on sandwiches

 

Popeye's failed me guess I gotta go back and I'm gonna get extra sauce and pickles

 

I think the sandwich is so good but it's rich so I like acidity to cut through that, pickles are a perfect compliment

 

I don't think the pickles "make it" but they're a necessary component, in my mind. The sandwich would still be great without them if you hate pickles. I don't eat pickles in most other situations, but feel like it adds a nice texture/tang to both the Popeye's and Chik-Fil-A sandwich.

 

Jalapeños on that sandwich would be nice. Also some pepper jack cheese, sautéed onions, some bacon mmmm.
