I managed to go into Popeyes today and I got out in under 15 minutes and the sandwich is still as good as ever but of course the soda machine is broken.

 

I was so pumped today because I was working near where the only Popeyes is by me and when I went there for lunch they were fucking closed due to technical difficulties. Never been so bummed in my life.

 

trying to get my hands on the Popeyes chicken sandwich sometime next week

It's not my favorite but I think it's pretty good. Definitely better than the Zaxbys I've been to.

 

I’ve never had zaxbys so I can’t compare the two, but I think zaxbys would have to be pretty wretched to be worse haha. Chicken e tenders just taste like straight up grease to me

Zaxby's is overrated but they do have some good items

like their club sandwich is pretty legit but there just aren't all that many things on the menu that I care for

nah, not a big onion ring guy. I like their fries tho

 

I've had both good and bad experiences at Chicken E. Zaxbys is fine too but I've just never been impressed. Maybe I should try something beyond the tenders and wings.

had a divine spicy sammy-red beans and rice-cajun fries meal last night

i almost certainly wouldn’t end up going with any fast food/chain options but that meal would at least get a moment of consideration if i were in a last meal/death row situation

 

I am ALL about this

 

didnt realize this wasn’t a nationwide thing but they’ve had these near me for a bit and i tried the one with the maple sauce a couple weeks ago out of curiosity and it was honestly very enjoyable

 

I managed to get my Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich in less than 5 minutes and I’m so glad that the hype is finally dead and I can enjoy the sandwich again.
