May need to try the onion rings. Seasoning on the fries has always been MINIMAL so that could be an issue.

If you don't have Canes, why not wish for Canes? Why wish for the second rate version instead?

 

I just explained to you why it’s not second rate version bishhhh the onion rings!!!! And the fries. But mostly the onion rings!
Also yeah I always get extra seasoning on the fries that’s the only way tbh

 

You are right that Zaxbys menu options crush Canes, but the things Canes does, it does better than Zax in my opinion. I will try the onion rings next time I'm there though.

You definitely made those last two places up.

I recently became a Zaxby’s fan after avoiding them based on one person’s bad experience. Their chicken is super hot and juicy and crispy and yeah the sides are great. I love that they offer wings as well and offer new options for sandwiches regularly that are really interesting. It’s also a pretty good bang for your buck, like the regular meal can sometimes get me two lunches.

 

Golden Chick and Chicken Express are definitely not made up. Probably regional, but both are great. I think the problem with Zaxby's is there's only the one location here. I've had it half a dozen times and it's always been average at best. It's not hot and juicy unfortunately. I do like the variety of the menu and the limited time sandwiches and stuff, but overall it's just been a miss for me.

I've never had them either. I tried once but they were out of the kickin' chicken basket I wanted so I just left.

My local butcher shop makes their own fried chicken and it's better than popeyes. I don't know how. It's amazing.

The only thing that approaches Popeyes is Bojangles imo.

 

We have lots of those, haha. A lotta homeless people eat there in my town.
