I knew it would happen eventually but it's still kinda shocking tbh:

I tried the new bbq chicken sandwich at McDonalds and it was ok but definitely not worth the nearly $6 price. It’s basically a McRib but with chicken. I dunno, it was fine. Thankfully I got a side of the ever reliable nugs

We went to Wendy's last night for some frosties because we were both craving desert and our DQ has been closed for almost a year with a "hiring" sign on it.

I always knew dipping fries in a vanilla frosty was amazing, so I was curious to try spicy nuggets in it this time

It didn't work for me, heh. Just tasted wrong. Would've thought otherwise since ranch is common with spicy foods, so they're both dairy based things..

 

Yeah we've found ourselves going to Five Guys almost every week lately. Even when we took a trip to Montreal, our first meal up there was the Five Guys next to the cannabis dispensary we just went to lol.

Then we might order dominos if we run out of food in the house, and potentially go to a restaurant/bar every couple of weeks for cocktails with dinner.

Oh and when we have to go to the laundromat every 2-3 weeks, that's always our time to drop laundry in the wash, get McDonald's or Wendy's, come back to fill the dryer, and then eat dinner reclined in the car while watching Netflix on my window mounted phone. Makes an annoying errand out to be a chill treat for a bit.

 

God damnit now I just want Five Guys. I haven't been in several years

 

It's waaay too convenient living 8 mins away from them, especially when you can online order from your phone so that when you get there, all you're waiting on is them getting you some fresh fries.

 

We used to have one walking distance from our apartment and would go all the time. Now the closest one is like 30 minutes away and my wife doesn't really care for it anymore. She says it's too greasy. So I'm just losing all around haha

had Nashville Hot chicken tenders from KFC for dinner and they were soooooo good

 

Went to BoJangles for the first time a few weeks ago. Man, we need to get these in the northeast!

I can't decide which I like better. Having both within 1 block of each other is a blessing for me haha
