went to Popeyes and the drive thru is now cash only so the line inside is out the door this sucks.

 

waited 40 minutes because I’m an idiot but lemme tell you it is still so worth the wait.

my mom who wasn’t a fan before even said that this time around it tasted way better.

 

About to try the Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes. What’s the consensus here?

At first I was like "holy fuck that's disgusting"

but the more I thought about it, it could work well on mango flavored yogurt or something like that.

I tried one of the mozz sticks yesterday because a coworker got them and she said they sucked. She was right. It was like liquid cheese inside. Not sure if they were possibly overcooked or something, but the cheese had zero texture.

nearest Popeyes is like an hour away and I don't find myself in that location very often. I'll try it eventually and you'll all get an extensive review when I do

 

gotcha. it's a very solid sandwich, but I wouldn't drive an hour each way just to get it (especially not knowing what to expect when you get there) -

 

@angrycandy Yeah I wouldn't drive an hour for the Popeye's sandwich, as incredible as it is. Next time you're in that area, though, I would go out of my way to get it.
