jack in the box is good for what it is. you have to get the right things. egg rolls, tacos, potato wedges. skip the burgers. the dollar chicken sandwich is decent. it's stoner/drunk food and they were (one of) the first to be 24 hours and serve breakfast all the time. they deserve credit for that.

 

plus they literally have a menu called the Munchies menu that you can only order from at hours you should not be consuming any food, let alone jack in the box.

 

I had it once. didn't feel like it deserves the hate it gets

 

It doesn't deserve the hate at all. It's not high quality food, but it's cheap as fuck and you can get crazy combinations of stuff that you can't get anywhere else. Plus they're also doing new innovative things.

Where else can you get a four patty chicken sandwich, fried tacos, an egg roll, a milkshake, curly fries and a piece of cheesecake for like $10

 

oh and if you want the most indulgent thing ever, the Loaded Breakfast sandwich is no joke

 

can you get 30 tacos for $0.50 at McDonald's? No? Didn't think so.

 

i'll get this thread over 1k just defending Jack in the Box, no shame

Haha i can’t say as I’ve never had those, but they literally give away the tacos if you attend certain sporting events where jack in the box is common. I guess they hope that you’ll come for the free food and buy extra food.

The tacos are okay if you’re really stoned or really drunk, but that’s the way their whole menu is. It’s not like taco bell where it’s cheap and good and even better when you’re stoned. It’s that the food becomes tolerable when you’re stoned.

 

I say god bless them for feeding the stoner community
