I drove by the Popeyes and there was 16 cars in line and both that and the Taco Bell’s next door parking lot was full. I’ll just go tomorrow tbh.

it's kind of shocking, even tho I expected it

 

I genuinely can’t remember any fast food item that has the whole internet going crazy.

We don't have these chicken places here so it's fascinating to see unfold online

 

A few minutes later they finally came on, I tried ordering two sandwiches, the employee said they didn’t have their full staff in the building yet and weren’t able to serve me any sandwiches until around noon because they “weren’t opening the station” where they make the sandwiches until those people got there, so I left because I wasn’t waiting an hour and a half on top of the 25 minutes I had already waited before they opened lol. Feels real bad.

 

There was a line around the building and out into the street at the one here in Dallas. Went inside and there were probably 25 people in line. One of the guys 10 people from the front said he'd already been waiting 30 minutes. We left and went to Shake Shack and got their chicken sandwich instead. It was still an 8/10. Then went and watched The Lighthouse. Solid day with @dadbolt

I wonder if this will go on for weeks, or maybe even months on end

and then all the Popeyes employees quit and no one can ever get the sandwich again

No it was $3.99 just for the sandwich but I didn't get one because the universe hates me

 

it’s ok it can just hate us together when I try to get one also.
