3x3. I figured I’d switch to the 3x2 if I agreed with your assessment, but I felt there was too much beef compared to the toppings. So I’ll be getting a double double next time and I’ll go from there.

Back when I had the Popeye’s sandwich over the summer they also had a peanut butter banana pie as a special dessert and it was legitimately incredible

got the 2 for 5 yesterday with two spicy chicken sandwiches and it was glorious

 

I also got the 2 for 5 spicy chicken and it was good, but they always give me the end piece of the tomato and it pisses me off, so I ordered with extra tomato, hoping that at least one piece of the tomato would be good - tomato was good, but these fuckers gave me the absolute worst pieces of lettuce I've ever seen. Like nothing but unripe stem.

 

yeah their lettuce and tomato can be highly suspect at times but such is fast food

yeah, I hear ya, but the sandwich is so simple that I need each ingredient to be on point. The lettuce was so bad that I couldn't eat it, so now I've just got mayo and tomato which sucks, so I wound up just eating the chicken patty itself.

 

we are obviously different people but I usually look at lettuce as a filler in regards to most fast food (looking @ you Taco Bell) so if it is a bad piece of lettuce, I usually just take it off but I get it

 

Naw I'm with you most of the time. It is kinda filler, but I don't want a spicy chicken sandwich with tomato and mayo, and no lettuce. I need all the components for that particular sandwich to fully come together.

I used to get deluxe at chick fil a because I though the spicy chicken sandwich needed it but after having the Popeyes one I’m a barebone kind of guy.

 

never got the deluxe before

the original sandwich is all I need (or maybe the spicy on occasion)

 

I've gotten the deluxe a few times, but I think I prefer the barebones one. I would take spicy over original 100% of the time though. (not that original isn't great too)

 

they should have spicy nugs by now tbh

 

can't believe those dorks haven't thought of that yet to take some of the hype away from Popeyes

 

spicy nugs seems like a no brainer, like day 1 of the spicy sandwich they should've had spicy nugs
