I usually get a JBC but I will try your recipe next time. I've never gotten a doublestack.

 

I just like it because it's a double burger with a good topping-to-meat ratio. It's the analog to the McDouble, but it's way better imo. It just depends on what you want from the value burger, I just personally want more meat than the normal JBC gives.

 

I agree that the mcdouble has a good ratio to it, but Wendy's burgers taste better and I'd prefer to get that from there so will definitely be trying this.

I'm always paying extra for the double cheeseburger at mcdonalds over the mcdouble.

If I pay more than like...$6 at a fast food place I get upset about it so I am always trying to finagle and be cheap. But I do pay for it in quality haha.

 

McDonalds has become ridiculously expensive these days. Like $17 to get a meal for two

 

This is why Taco Bell is king. The amount of food for the price is unbeatable.

I truly can't stand how expensive it is to get combos anywhere. I don't remember fast food being this expensive growing up?

 

they're just trying to compete because there's more options than ever before but they're going about it in all the wrong ways and alienating their customer base in the process

 

all the more reason to order the wendy's 4 for 4.

 

Is there a way to sub a food item for the drink? I don't typically ever want it.

 

I have no idea, but I doubt it.

while we're talking about things related to Arby's that make us hate ourselves, I actually liked their gyro when I tried it

 

arby's is good for what it is - doesn't deserve the hate

Arby's doesn't get nearly enough credit for the things it does really well (the curly fries, their chicken sandwiches).
