I wonder what Dave Thomas would think about what Wendy's has become

 

I wish Wendy's would experiment more. They have special promo sandwiches from time to time, but not often enough and they don't usually hang around very long. They used to have a blue cheese burger that was pretty good. I'd love to see a buffalo chicken sandwich made with the spicy chicken patty and some blue cheese crumbles. I guess I could make this happen fairly easily.

 

This is only a slight exaggeration but the Wendy's bacon queso burger is the unhealthy support system that got Laura and me through our miscarriage

 

that’s what I’m saying. they used to have new sandwiches that were good and exciting but when is the last time you can remember them having a new sandwich that made you want to go there? it’s been a while. I just feel like maybe that’s not so much their focus anymore or perhaps they just simply ran out of good ideas. but yeah I just don’t see them coming out with anything else that makes me feel like I have to try it

This one you can recreate easily. Just order a side of the cheese sauce (they'll sell you one without batting an eye) and dump it on the burger of your choice.

One piece of cheese to one piece of meat sounds like a good ratio. I wouldn't want more meat than cheese, if anything the opposite.

 

I wonder what it's like to order a 1x2, 2x3, or 2x4.

 

I thought the same thing, originally. But when I had a Double Double I wished there was more meat and then when I tried the 3x3 I thought there was too much cheese. Then I tried 3x2 and, much like Goldilocks before me, I thought it was just right.
