As promised, I went total fat kid today and tried both the new Spicy McNuggets AND the new Chips Ahoy McFlurry at McDonalds. I'm not proud, but I'm here to tell you:

• The nuggets are really great, even plain.
• I found the included hot sauce to be really tasty, but have far too long of a burn afterwards to be enjoyable. Better combo for me was the nuggets + ranch.
• The Chips Ahoy McFlurry is damn tasty. Soft-serve + ground up Chips Ahoy + caramel. Good stuff.

 

Are the Chips Ahoy crunchy or chewy?

 

I want those so bad

 

Crunchy! Which makes it mix nice with the soft serve.

Here's what I'll say - the Nuggets are what everyone is/will be talking about, but the McFlurry might be the secret better item.

they're good but I still enjoy the original ones a bit more

 

and I have to agree with @blast0rama

the Chips Ahoy McFlurry is the real star here

 

The nuggets were solid 9/10 for me.. the sauce was pretty good and QUITE a bit hotter than I expected.. think i'd go ranch next time though

yeah I like the nuggets, but I don't think they're really spicy enough. considering they cost more than the regular nuggets, I'll probably never order them again

 

wait what they are more they charged me $5 for a 20 piece so I was like oh cool

 

They were $2.69 for a 6 piece here. They have the McBreak deal that's a 6 piece nugget and small fries for $2.50 but that doesn't apply to the spicy nuggets for some reason. Not sure if they had better deals on larger quantities.
