I think Dutch Bros(coffee shop) is mostly a west coast thing but the way they’ve managed to go from empty most days to like 20 cars deep on sticker drops day is absolutely insane. *Dutch Bros drops a sticker once a month and people go crazy for them.
Dutch always seems to be 10-20 cars deep around me But I'm in Oregon where it started, so it makes sense people have deep allegiance for them
Recently I was working late so I got a coffee at Dutch bros at like 8pm and was v surprised how busy they still were in the evening
Wtf my Wendy's got rid of spicy chicken nugget combo meals, you can only order spicy nuggets on their own
Ghost Pepper Whopper ruled. BK's long chicken sandwich though might be the worst fast food chicken sandwich I have ever had.
Ghost Pepper Whopper is interesting. Its very spicy, but it is a spiciness that creeps up on you the more you eat and doesn't hit you right away. also its a fleeting spiciness though, once it gets to it's height you just take a sip of your drink, and in 30 seconds it's goes away. Slow for the heat to turn up, fast for the heat to turn down. Kind of perfect type of spicy for a fast food item you want to market as being very spicy, but also don't want to turn people off.
My daughter's obsessed with the carnitas a Chipotle. I never had them before so my mind was blown that there's only 3-4 ingredients in them with no spice.
I always do chicken and carnitas. I think the carnitas is the best, but I like the texture the added chicken gives it
Is Portillos good (like exceptionally so)? got one opening in my area - is it worth making a trek (45 mins) and potentially waiting a long time for food?
There’s one by Knott’s and it hits pretty good after a long day at the park but idk if I’d drive that far JUST for portillos tbh
Idk it's pretty damn good. I'd probably wait a few months for the hype to die down and then go. Personally, the drive wouldn't bother me but having to wait hours in line would.
