Podcast: The Ride

They typically talk about theme parks and themed entertainment and so they were studying up on the Tayto theme park, but they spent most of the time talking about Mr Tayto.

It’s funny because they actually talked about how intertwined he is with Irish identity. There was a quote from someone that they read basically saying that Mr Tayto is more representative of the Irish than their own colors (I’m assuming they meant flag). And other people who said that they want to do away with the leprechaun and try and launch Mr Tayto as the international symbol for Ireland.

 

So stateside we have the Chippendale dancers. Maybe across the pond they’re the Crispindale dancers and all the dancers all have a likeness comparable to Crispin Glover.

Guy at work asked me what kind of music I like. I didn't want to talk so I tried to keep it brief and just said "like punk rock" and his response was "what is that, like a genre?"

This is the most difficult of conversations. People are like, "Oh I like hardcore too...Godsmack is my favorite band." I'm like, "yea same....."

Seems like around here, people call any kind of music with with even a hint of raspy vocals "metal"
