I have a dumb sportz q. Is there a cap on how much an athlete can make in any of the organizations?

 

single player, no, but teams are held to a salary cap, which is a limit on how much they can spend each season on players.

The NFL and NHL have hard caps on salary, NBA and MLB are a bit looser, in those leagues if you go over the cap the team is taxed a percentage of the overage.
