No, the pasta was the cause of the meltdown which absolutely felt like a slap in the face coming from “comfort food”.

Yeah this was my second time and I thought it would be perfect but I misjudged the texture a bit and things got stressful. Lol. Luckily I could regroup and fix it but dinner was like two hours late.

This is largely why I’ll never get a *giggles* Dutch oven* or a pasta maker. Or anything that makes things I can readily buy fresh. I just don’t handle stress well. Cooking by itself makes me anxious and I suck. I’m not gonna add more steps haha. Can see why it might be fun if you’re decent at it but I don’t trust myself and I’m far too lazy

Well a Dutch oven is super super easy to use! But yeah, I get it. I love cooking and it generally is soothing and fun for me, but the rare occasions where things mess up are awful. Luckily this one could be solved and everything was still delicious, otherwise I’d be a mess. The current situation would make having to throw out a whole batch of dough incredibly sad.
