got me keys, forgot water. put keys down to get water, where did i put them? now where are my shoes? put everything down to get them on. where's my water? oh no i put the keys in my bag and now my whole arm is in the bag trying to find them.

Lmao this post is giving me anxiety cos now I feel like I’ve forgotten something still. But yeah. We’re a mess. Genuinely kinda scares me for when I’m older. It’s so embarrassing and frustrating. One time I had to drive home 3 times in the morning. First time I forgot my memory stick. Second I went to school without printing stuff at the convenience store (Japan doesn’t trust USBs...absurd) so I drove back but realised I left my wallet. I went back, got my wallet, got to the store and then realised the bloody printer doesn’t except word docs...only PDFs. So I had to drive back home, save my doc as a PDF, back to the store, print, drive to work. Only to realise the pasta I’d cooked for work was still in the pot at home, and I’d mistakenly brought a thermos full of soapy water after washing it and thinking it was full of pasta

noooooo you didn't forget anything! yeah tell me about it for the future! ooo it's so embarrassing when i'm trying to buy something and i don't have my wallet. like hi hold this for me i'll be back in 20. some places are modern and accept google pay (mcdonalds) so when i forget my wallet when I have to babysit, i can still grab food on the way
i have to submit a timesheet for payday tomorrow, i know i'll get a reminder text at 11 am!

Lmao good god I forgot my wallet here once in the car at a restaurant. The owners obviously spoke no English, as expected. I had to try gesture I was going to get it and come back. I left my phone and other stuff on the table to show I wasn’t running away, but came back in to like 5 chefs with their arms crossed standing by my table. Great start to life here haha.

OOOO you’ve actually reminded me to set up reminder texts and calendar alerts THANK YOU. I’ve never used google pay but assume it’s the same as Apple Pay? Annoyingly that’s not really an option here!

Haaa honestly to-do lists are pointless to me because I leave them at home. Or if they’re on my phone I’ll write them in my notes and then leave my phone at home. Or I’ll just plain forget that I wrote them on my phone and not take it out the entire time I’m shopping. The fuck is my life

on my galaxy i can add the notes widget to my home screen, and make the note into a to-do list and it's really a life saver
except i have nothing worthy of warranting a to-do list so i've really noticed how bad it is now
