Damn bro that sucks, I have a coworker I work in a relatively close vicinity daily go to Wisconsin Dells last weekend with friends, now the same coworker is going to Chicago to see other friends

I literally think it’s just a not if, but when at this point about getting sick

 

I’m doing the job hunting grind and WHY IS IT SO HARD

It’s like there’s this other language you’re supposed to speak just to know how to apply to jobs when I know damn well most people at said companies are IDIOTS anyway and if they can do it I can fucking do it


Anyway I’m on a site where you have to fill out your profile in order to apply places and there’s a section for skills but it’s one of those like you start typing and then options populate....Idfk what skills I have?? Half the ones I tried typing aren’t options so Idfk what to even put

 

Just make up skills relevant to the position, they won't know what's true and it's likely just for the algorithm reviewing the profile/resume for relevant keywords.

I abandon applying for an position that requires me to fill out a profile. fuck that. review my resume, that's all you assholes in HR get.

 

No I mean it’s a site that you make a profile and just press apply for all the jobs lol. So I need the profile filled out sadly bc it’s what every job sees

Idk their might be, I didn't look into too many places I just found the Walgreens and they're doing it in a drive-thru setting which seems less risky. I'm going to presume my co-worker tests positive so

Also I can’t fucking stand how often jobs don’t even put their pay rate there

like sounds about right you want me to spend my time begging you to hire me when you won’t even pay me what I’m worth/a living wage

 

The worst is when it asks what your desired salary is, 60 k eat my dick you're giving me 30

 

Honestly it makes me want to blow my brains out that so many of these are like “what we’re looking for: a self motivated positive and punctual person with at least 3 years experience in this niche industry! You’ll need to do something extremely specialized and you’ll need a college degree!”
Then be like “pay: $11 an hour!”
