Yeah so many of them are legitimately great and hold up under a more critical eye now. Others fall apart and end up making you wish you hadn’t watched them again.

Under Wraps may be my favorite for showing to people who didn’t grow up watching any of them to explain how good they can be.

The Ultimate Christmas Present was a huge letdown when I watched it last year. A few good lines or scenes but mostly it was not anything like I remembered.

Also maybe Can is Worms. I saw that maybe four or five years ago and it was so much stranger than I thought and not nearly as funny. Haven’t seen it since it’s been streaming though.

tbh/tbf i never actually watched it when it came out, but i watched it with the kids i babysit a few weeks ago and it was so bad

 

Yeah I didn’t like it at all. Everyone was super unpleasant for the whole movie and I forgot how weird and vaguely threatening the santa was and the whole thing was just rough. The elves were the only part I still enjoyed much at all.

I watched Blank Check maybe a year or two ago, lol. It’s pretty fresh in my mind.

I don’t know if You Lucky Dog is still good on its own but it has Kirk Cameron so I can’t imagine I’d enjoy it at all now.

 

I know that you lucky dog technically counts but I refuse to consider it canon as a DCOM. They did not play that very often and wiped it from memory much earlier than any others

 

I am only just now getting to the point of the movie where the premise of how he gets the money is revealed and I gotta tell you I blacked all of this out of my mind

 

I used to love it and watch it a lot which is weird because I never do dog movies and a lot of it was super dark. Very different tone from most of the others. Like it’s strange that it was about only adults if I remember correctly.
