Literally my number one bucket list song to hear live is Leningrad and it will never happen. I heard Summer, Highland Falls after years of wishing and hoping but I don’t think my luck will ever give me this wish. He did start playing it again after decades not but it’s usually in one of those “audience choice” things and of course no one ever knows it.

If youre ever able to, try and see him at one of his MSG shows - hes done SOOO many of them that by now he will just go on 5-10 song tangents of shit 60% of the folks there have never heard, bc as long as he plays piano man, scenes, good die young, and miami 2017 everyone goes home happy. Theres a decent shot he’d pull it out at any one of those shows.

Yeah, some of it is still classic like the juice scene or everything to do with his mansion being the dream, but some of it is veeeeerry questionable and hard to watch. Like knowing that I watched this a ton as a kid and never saw anything wrong with it feels gross.

I’ve been to two!!! The first was when I finally heard Summer, Highland Falls (and a bunch of other favorites, it was an incredible setlist), and the second was when he threw it out as an option to the crowd which broke my heart. That was on my birthday and everything. He played it at one a few months after that and I was not happy, lol. The absolute best would have been at the show where Viktor was there.

Oh wow I was too jealous for words until I saw this. Summer, Highland Falls AND Leningrad AND Sleeping With the Television On in the same set is my ultimate dream but if he was there??? All my memories would be tainted.
