There is nothing more difficult than learning the names of all of the soldiers in a war movie. There’s always like 3 McCluskys and 7 Benjamins in every one of them and they all talk with an identical south Philly accent.

 

I never watched Dunkirk because I heard it was too loud lol.

Basically this. I personally think he did a fucking incredible job with the state during the peak of the pandemic.

Why even worry about learning their names!

 

I want to keep track of who is who lol

I’m watching band of brothers and I’m on episode 5 and can name 1 guy and it’s the main guy

when they have conversations and reference someone else I’m completely unable to conjure an image of that person

 

idk about that but it sure was boring. I think they chose one of the single most uneventful “battles” of ww2 to make a movie out of. it’s better than Batman and Interception.

 

I can’t remember names in new shows and don’t even bother.

 

Well there’s Dick Winters and there’s Ross. And then, uh........

 

Commander Chandler and Corporal Ross

 

unless it's a show or movie i really love, i sure as fuck never remember their names, maybe the actors names

 

he needs to know their names for his fantasies

With most shows I usually have it down in the first few episodes. Like what we do in the shadows, I knew those vamp names early and they stuck.
