Haha thanks! I do think the Stussy brothers will need to step it up after this episode, though. Love how the show can be so great even without them in it.
The flashback stuff reminded me of Hail Caesar except it was good Only upset that she found out like 100% of the information possible, got to talk to both those people, found the name origin and the box forty years later, it was a little much
MAC!! Another fantastic episode. Really loved the animated bits, especially. The Arby's plug was a little weird but eh, they played it off the best they could. Gloria's wardrobe this episode was sooo on point though
Was great seeing Mac. It was a great episode, but I really feel like we could have done without that entire story line/episode considering they got a hit on the fingerprints. Yeah, it was cool and fun, but I don't really see it being important.
I really liked how they did this kind of ep on a 3rd ep. Most shows would do that somewhere towards the end or middle or a season. Also Leland Palmer!!!
Looking forward to Charlie Day being in Season 4 haha Do not get the negative backlash this season is getting from some fans on Facebook. Jesus. Granted it hasn't totally blown me away right off the bat like the first two seasons did, but I'm still really enjoying it. Also? David Thewlis is stealing every scene he shows up in.
This might be a stretch but I thought it was a reference to the movie where Marge Gunderson's husband brings her Arby's for lunch when she was at work.
Oh! You could totally be right about that. I haven't watched the movie in.... oh man. Like a decade, maybe? So that flew right over my head, and is probably a more accurate assumption.
Well I guess I'll be that guy, this was my least favorite episode of the entire series. Still great, but I think just moving it to LA made it all feel a bit off. I missed the Stussy's and MEW. And maybe I'll feel differently when the season is over, but I just don't see why Ennis' backstory needed an entire episode. Kind of wish they just peppered it in throughout the season instead of taking us away from almost the entire cast for a week [edit] fucking hell I use "just" too much. Just toooo much
not a stretch at all, that's 100% what it was. I'm pretty sure there was a reference to it in S1 as well.
Episode 3 was so perfect. Mac was great (now we just need Charlie and Dee). The animated scenes got me way too emotional.
Ahh makes sense. I was thinking FX just had some deal with Arby's, considering Baskets worked there, and his mother is always talking about the curly fries too.
Haha. He's had Arby's jokes in his stand up before Baskets so, I always wondered if the Arby's references were product placement or something that Zach wanted in the show.
So, what happened to Jim Gaffigan? He was supposed to be in Season 3. It was reported everywhere, he even tweeted out a photo of being on set, he was on the imdb cast list. He hasn't appeared and his name has since been taken off the imdb cast list. Weird.
I mean we're only three episodes in, he could still show up. I don't think IMDB is very reliable these days
Kind of weird for Gaffigan to never say anything about this, considering he tweeted a photo of being on the set. I'm sure all his fans are wondering.
Show got really popular in the last three years, so I'm not surprised that the most entitled and unsatisfied portion of the mainstream audience is being harsh, and for example using hyperboles everywhere. Same thing happened to Game Of Thrones post-Red Wedding. Like, suddenly everyone was watching that show and posting reviews and things like that.
