on a serious note I love s2 but I dock points for a couple things. namely Hanzee being Tripoli is just the all-time dumbest thing and does such a disservice to this great character they created turning him into some mook who gets wrecked in s1. just hella hella dumb

the only inter-season callback I've liked so far is Wrench coming back, again in s3. it's the only one that actually added to the story being told instead of detracting

 

My brain doesn’t work and I remember basically nothing of seasons 1-3

 

Same, I remember loving all three seasons, but I couldn't tell you a thing about them.

 

Last nights episode was pretty bleak. But it’s always darkest before the dawn…

 

Whenever Ole Munch isn’t on screen, all the other characters should be asking where Ole Munch is

 

the "if you're so smart, why are you so dead" line is the perfect encapsulation of Roy. Dude is a huge dork

 

yeah kinda clunky as fuck.

 

If not for watching 1-3 with family over Thanksgiving and Xmas I wouldn't either

I've been fond of all but S3. I really wanted to like it but it was....just meh to me.

 

I ended up falling so far behind that I'm just gonna wait until the whole thing is over and binge it at this point

 

Varga is not a better villain than Mike Milligan or Lorne Malvo

 

Nah, that scene was perfect

 

I literally knew the exact wording he was going to use when he paused after “if you’re so smart…” which is how you know they created a perfect character in this instance.

 

Malvo is overrated. Ooooo he represents how humans can be not so different from wild animals, ooooooo.

lol jk, love him but i do think malvo is the least interesting villain of the first three seasons (and i feel like i can already say i like Tillman more too). Varga is the strangest and seems the most difficult to take down, so i like him best. But Milligan is very fun too.

but also Dodd is way more of the villain in s2 than Milligan is my take

 

all that buildup for Malvo and he got taken out by a postman, Varga could never

 

Totally agree. Hanzee being Tripoli was such a poor choice.

 

I think y’all are forgetting how great the villain of season 4 was. Who was….

I decided to try to work my way through season 4 before starting season 5. Regretting it

 

the tornado? There was a tornado right?

 

I hardly remember anything about season 4 except for Gaetano tripping and shooting himself.

 

Jessie Buckley's character was solid in S04

 

Absolutely hated that character.

 

Yeah I love Jessie Buckley but her character sucked. And was overall pointless?
