My theory is that he is so natural at playing a dick because that is who he actually is Google "Jon Hamm fraternity claw hammer "
Yeah that incident is fucked. Though he’s also openly talked about how during MM he was an alcoholic and has been trying to be a better person so I like to hope he’s a good one.
Also haven’t seen ep 2 yet so can’t comment on his performance. Excited though cuz I loved episode one.
So I'm watching a documentary on season 2, and Hanzee mentions how his character, after changing identities, becomes Tripoli, from season 1, the guy eating fish early on. Had no idea
I knew this already but it's even more clear if you watch season 2 first before watching season 1. At the end of season 2 Hanzee says his "head in a bag" line which is the same exact line Moses Tripoli says in season 1.
Also at the end of season 2 Hanzee protects two kids getting bullied, one of which is deaf, and the other speaking to him in ASL..which is clear that is young Mr. Wrench and young Mr. Numbers. Wrench has technically appeared in 3 seasons. Another character that carries over that is easy to miss, is a younger version of Brad Garrett's character from season 2 shows up in the last few episodes of season 4.
I rewatched the entire series last month when I used the rest of my vacation hours for the year so all the lore is still fresh.
My wife is watching Fargo for the first time and we started with season 2 before going to season 1. You’re very right, it’s much clearer that way.
All of the connections between seasons make me want to do a full chronological rewatch once the whole series is done, but that would mean sitting through season 4 again and I don't think I can do that
I struggled with it in my chronological rewatch too but I think season 4 is easier to get through knowing you're doing season 2 after and watching it in the context of it being a direct prequel to season 2.
It'd be so funny if the final season of this brings a bunch of the characters from previous seasons and Frances McDormand's character from the movie together for a team up Avengers style.
Finally started the season and holy shit that whole gas station sequence in episode 1 was so masterfully done This is already blowing last season away
Oh it for sure is - poorly worded post on my part. More meant like, good lord it’s laughable and completely distracting in every scene she’s in
The first two episodes were great. I was initially worried about Juno Temple because I hated Ted Lasso after the first season, but I'm quickly realizing she's not to fault for that. I just love how quickly the writers can introduce so many memorable characters and establish the stakes. I can already see the train wreck on the horizon when they inevitably converge.
