Also no spoilers, but the movie does tie into season 1 in a cool way.

I'm pretty sure it's so they can keep classifying themselves as a "limited series" for award shows lol

 

Also there is a part in this trailer that is very clearly a nod to a scene from the movie.

Completely forgot Lamorne Morris was confirmed for this. So excited, got a good feeling about this season

 

Only know him from New Girl, but his comedic talents are so good

 

Have never actually seen the movie itself, so think I'll watch it this weekend

Just got to the beware the jabbawalks scene on my s2 rewatch. Show was firing on all cylinders
