the short answer is yes, but it was universal. we all felt that way until some interview or something came out where the show runner said the event fit in with the “folklore” feel of the season
Watching season 2 before 1 is certainly a choice! Haha. It would be really interesting going into season 1 for the first time essentially having seen a prequel. Absolutely do not watch 3 before 1 though, at the very least And nah you’re not dense for not “getting” the aliens. It’s pretty out of left field and a lot of people outright hate it
2>3>1 and then it falls off a cliff in season 4. enough reserved goodwill that I’m interested in the next season, though.
I never got around to watching season 4 because week after week everyone in here kept saying how bad it was and I was just waiting for the inevitable turning point that would change everyone’s minds, but then it never came so I just stayed away.
funnily enough I thought it started out okay and just got progressively worse with each week. Turman's character dying was the clear point it lost me completely
The last season of Legion sucked, last season of Fargo sucked, and Lucy in the Sky bombed (because it supposedly sucks). Have to wonder if Hawley is washed.
I still would like to watch season four, but I have not been able to get through the first episode any of the three times I've tried.
finished season 1 tonight. i think 2 is better but 1 was close. lester was such a massive piece of shit.
